Chelsea are believed to be keeping tabs on CSKA Moscow goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev amid doubts over the future of Blues' number one Petr Cech.
The Premier League champions are thought to have turned their attention to the 25-year-old in hopes of securing a replacement for Cech, according to the Daily Mail.
Despite signing teenage keeper Thibaut Courtois in the summer, the youngster recently claimed that he is not ready for first-team action at Stamford Bridge.
Akinfeev is currently trying to recover from a knee injury in a bid to be fit for Russia's campaign in the European Championships this summer.
