Chelsea eyeing move for Marseille's Boubacar Kamara?

:Headline: Chelsea eyeing move for Marseille's Boubacar Kamara?:
Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara emerges as a potential transfer target for Chelsea, according to a report.

Chelsea could reportedly attempt to sign Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara during this summer's transfer window.

The 21-year-old has made 122 appearances for his Ligue 1 club in all competitions, contributing three goals and five assists in the process.

The midfielder was a vital player for Les Olympiens last season - featuring on 43 occasions - but it is thought that the French outfit are under pressure to sell him this summer due to their financial problems.

According to football.london, Chelsea have been alerted to the recent developments surrounding the Frenchman and could make an offer in the current market.

The report claims that the Blues view Kamara as a cheaper alternative to Declan Rice, who will be difficult to sign this summer due to West Ham United's high asking price.

Newcastle United have also been credited with an interest in the youngster, who has less than 12 months left to run on his current deal with Marseille. body check tags ::
