Ghana international Baba Rahman is ready to seal a move from Augsburg to Chelsea, according to reports.

Augsburg defender Baba Rahman is closing in on a move to Premier League champions Chelsea, according to reports.

The 21-year-old full-back had been linked with a move to Arsenal in recent weeks.

However, Chelsea have now emerged as favourites to sign the Ghana international, reports ESPN.

Rahman, who has 11 caps for Ghana, joined Augsburg from SpVgg Greuther Furth in 2014, and made 31 appearances for Markus Weinzierl's side last season.
