Chelsea have seemingly been handed a boost in the race to secure a deal for Porto defender Alex Telles.
Having starred for the Portuguese giants in recent seasons, Telles is ready to take on a new challenge at a bigger club.
Aware that the left-back has just over a year remaining on his contract, Chelsea are allegedly looking to sign the Brazil international as a replacement for either Marcos Alonso or Emerson Palmieri.
According to Record, their chances of landing Telles have been made easier by Pini Zahavi now acting as the 27-year-old's representative.
Zahavi has played a pivotal role in Premier League transfers in the past, which Chelsea will hope remains the case during the upcoming negotiations between the relevant parties.
Porto are expected to demand €40m (£35.1m) - Telles's release clause - should they opt to sell one of their key men during the next transfer window.
