Bayern Munich are reportedly prepared to sell central defender Niklas Sule this summer.
The 25-year-old has been an important player for the German giants during the 2020-21 campaign, making 33 appearances in all competitions, including 20 outings in the Bundesliga.
Sule's contract in Munich is due to expire next summer, though, and Chelsea have been strongly linked with his services in recent months.
According to AbendZeitung, Bayern are willing to offload the Germany international during this summer's transfer window, as they do not want him to enter the final 12 months of his contract.
The report claims Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is 'very interested' in Sule, who joined the German champions from Hoffenheim in the summer of 2017.
The Blues are expected to be in the market for at least one centre-back this summer, with Real Madrid's Raphael Varane also said to be a target for the Champions League finalists.
