Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is considering a move for controversial Real Madrid defender Pepe, according to reports.
The Madrid outfit are believed to be willing to listen to offers for the Portuguese centre-back after his reputation took further damage following accusations that he stamped on Barcelona's Lionel Messi in a match earlier this month.
It is understood that Villas-Boas will monitor the situation throughout the remainder of the season and make an offer should the relationship fail to recover after Euro 2012, according to The People.
The former Porto man arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu in 2007 for a fee of £25m.
