Chelsea have reportedly held discussions over a potential transfer for Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar.
The Brazil international has a contract with PSG until June 2025, which also contains an option to extend the deal by a further year.
However, there is uncertainty surrounding his long-term future at the club after a recent report suggested that he was considering a summer departure alongside Lionel Messi.
According to Le Parisien, Chelsea are in negotiations with PSG over a deal for the Brazilian, who was bought from Barcelona for £200m in 2017.
The report claims that Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has flown to Paris to enter discussions with the French champions.
The Blues have spent over £600m during the last two transfer windows, and they broke the British transfer record to sign Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for £107m last month.
They may have to splash out on another sizeable fee if they are to sign Neymar in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Neymar has scored 117 goals and provided 76 assists in 172 appearances for PSG, but there is a belief that the French club could be open to a departure.
PSG's Qatari ownership have reportedly grown tired of Neymar and are willing to sanction a sale at the end of the season.
Neymar's relationships with some of his PSG teammates has become strained this term, including Kylian Mbappe, after the pair fell out over penalty-taking duties earlier this season.
The Brazilian also confirmed that he had an argument involving PSG director Luis Campos and teammate Marquinhos following Saturday's 3-1 to Monaco.
Campos stormed into the dressing after the game and accused the players of lacking aggression, which resulted in a heated response from Neymar and Marquinhos.
Commenting on the incident, Neymar said: "It has happened. We didn't agree with what was being said at that time, so we had a discussion about it. I speak to my friends every day, and I love all of them. It is like that with my girlfriend as well.
"We talk about football, all of us. Football is about communicating. Of course, there is respect on both sides, and sometimes you don't agree on things.
"So there might be a discussion to improve the team, the atmosphere, our play. We have lost a few games and we are frustrated about that. We want to win all the time.
"When those defeats come around, it hurts, so discussions are part of that. That can help us improve as a team. I think it has helped because we cleared things up. We know what we are all thinking."
Neymar has made 28 appearances for PSG this season, scoring 17 goals and contributing 16 assists. body check tags ::
