Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has revealed that he could join Tottenham Hotspur to help his Premier League development.
The Belgian stopper joined Chelsea during the summer transfer window but is now on loan at Spanish side Atletico Madrid.
The 19-year-old could move to Spurs in the future in a bid to help his development and to allow him to adapt to the English game.
"Chelsea told me that I would spend two years in a team like Atletico," said Courtois.
"At the moment it is only one year, but if they want me for a second Chelsea are fine with that. It is possible.
"After that I would then spend one more season with an English club, like Fulham or Tottenham, to allow me to adapt to the English league. Then in the fourth season everything would be normal at Chelsea."
Courtois joined Chelsea from Genk in July and as seen as the successor of Petr Cech, whose future in the sport has recently been called into doubt.
