Chelsea have reportedly contacted the representatives of Porto attacker Luis Diaz to discuss a potential move for the Colombia international during next summer's transfer window.
The 24-year-old's future remains the subject of much speculation, with Newcastle United, Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona all credited with an interest.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Diaz has chosen agent Pini Zahavi to help negotiate his next move, and "many European clubs" are keeping a close eye on developments.
Schira claims that Chelsea have already been in contact to ask for information about the South American, who has a €80m (£67.7m) release clause in his current deal.
The attacker has been in impressive form for Porto during the 2021-22 campaign, finding the back of the net on seven occasions in 12 appearances, including six goals in nine league outings.
In total, Diaz has netted 32 goals and registered 14 assists in 109 appearances for his Portuguese club since making the move from Colombian outfit Junior FC in 2019.
