Chelsea are reportedly planning a £44m offer for Real Madrid attacker Isco at the end of the campaign.
The Blues recently had their FIFA-imposed transfer suspension lifted and are expected to be active when the January transfer window opens for business.
A new forward is believed to be a priority for the club, but according to El Desmarque, Frank Lampard's side are also keen on bringing Isco to Stamford Bridge.
The report claims that Madrid are unlikely to sanction a sale during next month's window, but Chelsea will look to tempt the Spanish giants at the end of the 2019-20 season with a £44m bid.
Isco has been consistently linked with a move away from the Bernabeu over the last year or so, although the Spain international has recently worked his way back into favour after recovering from injury.
Indeed, the 27-year-old has featured in eight of Madrid's last 10 La Liga matches, starting their last two against Valencia and Barcelona.
The playmaker has a contract in the Spanish capital until the summer of 2022.
