Chelsea have allowed midfielder Kasey Palmer to return to Huddersfield Town on a season-long loan deal.
Palmer spent the 2016-17 campaign at the John Smith's Stadium and he was able to net four times in 25 Championship appearances for the Terriers as they earned promotion to the Premier League.
The 20-year-old returned from injury to make an appearance in the playoff final against Reading, and head coach David Wagner has moved to bring him in for a second successive year.
The England Under-21 international has yet to make a first-team appearance for Chelsea, but he has been named on the substitutes' bench in the past.
Palmer becomes Huddersfield's second signing of the day after Tom Ince completed a transfer from Derby County for a fee said to be worth up to £11m.
