Chelsea have made a bid for 18-year-old Anderlecht striker Romelu Lukaku, according to BBC Sport.
The Belgian club said they had engaged in cursory talks with the Stamford Bridge side last month over a possible switch.
It is unclear how much the Blues have offered for the Belgian international.
Both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City have been linked with the forward, who has scored 31 goals in 71 games for his club.
