John Terry has reportedly been informed by Chelsea that he will not be offered another contract at Stamford Bridge.
Last summer, the Blues legend accepted a one-year deal - just months after the club had decided against extending his stay in West London - but it appears that his Chelsea playing career will come to an end in May.
According to The Times, the 36-year-old has been told by members of the club's hierarchy that he will not be part of the first-team squad for the next campaign.
Injuries and the form of Gary Cahill and David Luiz have restricted Terry to just seven appearances this season, while he has played just once in the Premier League since September 11.
It has been claimed that Terry will be offered a non-playing role at the club, but the former England skipper is likely to have opportunities to move to either the Chinese Super League or the MLS.
