Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Lyon forward Nabil Fekir following his failed summer move to Liverpool.
Fekir looked certain to join the Merseyside outfit during the previous transfer window, and had even conducted interviews with the club's in-house media team only for the deal to break down at the 11th hour.
Concerns over an underlying knee problem are thought to be the reason behind the abandoned move, but L'Equipe reports that Chelsea and Bayern Munich are now interested in the 25-year-old.
Both clubs are understood to have scouted Fekir extensively this season and are the two most interested parties, with Liverpool no longer in the running.
The World Cup winner's current deal expires in 2020, and Lyon could be tempted to cash in on their captain next summer in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer the following year.
Fekir has scored two and created two more in seven Ligue 1 appearances for Lyon so far this term.
