Chelsea have reportedly made little progress in their efforts to agree new contracts with Tammy Abraham and Reece James.
With the likes of Fikayo Tomori, Mason Mount and Callum Hudson-Odoi having recently penned fresh terms, the Blues are keen to achieve the same resolution with two more of their academy graduates.
However, despite the pair having featured regularly this season, The Telegraph claims that an official announcement regarding extended deals is not imminent.
Both players are tied to the West Londoners until the end of the 2021-22 campaign, while there is no suggestion that they are angling for a move away from Stamford Bridge.
Nevertheless, Chelsea had hoped that negotiations would have been concluded before the start of the January transfer window.
Abraham has scored 13 goals from 23 appearances this season, with James having been used on 14 occasions.
