Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi has emerged as a £22m target for Chelsea, according to reports.
The Premier League champions are believed to be keen to add a striker to their squad in the summer as Jose Mourinho looks to add support for Diego Costa, whose debut season at Stamford Bridge was disrupted by a number of hamstring problems.
According to the Evening Standard, Icardi is aware of Chelsea's interest and he is reluctant to sign a new contract at San Siro.
The 22-year-old, who has scored 20 goals this season, has previously indicated that he is keen to stay at Inter but admitted that negotiations have been difficult.
Icardi joined Inter from Sampdoria in 2013.
