Chelsea have reportedly placed an £80m price tag on midfielder N'Golo Kante ahead of the next transfer window.
The World Cup winner has enjoyed a successful career at Stamford Bridge, winning the Premier League, Europa League and FA Cup during his four-year period with the Blues.
However, despite making 164 appearances during that time, the 29-year-old has been sidelined on numerous occasions this season due to injury.
While Diario Madridista claims that Chelsea would prefer to keep the France international, the English team are allegedly prepared to consider offers in the region of £80m.
Kante still has over three years left on his contract, leaving Chelsea in a strong position when it comes to ensuring that they receiving their asking price.
Nevertheless, Real Madrid, who are long-term admirers of Kante, seemingly have no intention of shelling out such a fee in the foreseeable future.
