Chelsea are thought to have reopened talks with Marseille defender Cesar Azpilicueta.
The Premier League club showed an interest in the 22-year-old Spaniard back in January before manager Andre Villas-Boas was dismissed.
However, new coach Roberto Di Matteo is still keen to land the full-back and has taken a significant step in acquiring his services, according to the Daily Mail.
Azpilicueta, who could cost around £7m, has been named in the Spain squad for the upcoming Olympics.
