Chelsea reportedly sent scouts to watch Dijon pair Mounir Chouiar and Bryan Soumare during Friday night's shock 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1.
Chouair, who largely operates as a left winger, played the full 90 minutes against PSG, scoring his team's opener as the strugglers recorded an impressive victory.
The 20-year-old only joined Dijon from Lens over the summer but has been a key player this term.
Soumare, meanwhile, was an unused substitute against Thomas Tuchel's side but has been a regular during the 2019-20 campaign, making nine appearances in all competitions.
According to The Sun, Chelsea watched Chouair in action against PSG while the Blues have also been scouting Soumare's performances this term.
The report claims that Frank Lampard's side could even attempt to sign the duo during the January window should they manage to appeal their transfer ban, which currently runs until next summer.
A positive start to the 2019-20 campaign has left Chelsea fourth in the Premier League table, just two points off second-placed Manchester City after 11 matches.
