Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur quoted £34m for Jonas Hofmann

:Headline: Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur quoted £34m for Jonas Hofmann:
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are seemingly told that it will cost £34m to sign Borussia Monchengladbach winger Jonas Hofmann this summer.
Sports Mole

Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl has suggested that Jonas Hofmann's asking price has been set at £34m.

The 28-year-old has just enjoyed an outstanding campaign in the Bundesliga, contributing six goals and 11 assists from 24 appearances.

With just two years remaining on his contract, the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the versatile playmaker.

However, Eberl has hinted that he will only consider selling one of his key men if Monchengladbach's valuation is met over the coming weeks.

Speaking to Bild am Sonntag, Eberl said: "We live in a time when you can't rule anything out. We certainly don't want to sell Jonas, but if at some point a club is offering €40m for Jonas, we can't say we're not interested.

Hofmann has been selected in Germany's squad for Euro 2020, likely delaying any discussions regarding his club future. body check tags ::
