Chelsea are reportedly planning to make a bid of £31m for Bayer Leverkusen defender Benjamin Henrichs this summer.
The 21-year-old has caught the eye of a number of top clubs, including both Manchester sides, after breaking into the Leverkusen first team over the last couple of seasons and has also earned a handful of caps for the senior Germany side.
Last summer the Bundesliga outfit tied Henrichs down to a new contract keeping him at the club until 2022 with a release clause of £31m.
According to The Sun, the Blues are prepared to meet that figure as they look to strengthen ahead of next season - with or without manager Antonio Conte - and Leverkusen "are resigned to losing him".
Henrichs has been with Leverkusen since the age of eight and has racked up 74 senior appearances for the club to date.
