Chelsea are said to be preparing an improved offer for Bayer Leverkusen forward Andre Schurrle.
The European champions reportedly failed with a £16m bid for the 21-year-old German international last month.
Schurrle admitted that he was interested in a move to Stamford Bridge and, according to The Mirror, Blues owner Roman Abramovich will now sanction a £25m move for the player.
Schurrle has been capped 16 times at senior international level, scoring seven goals.
