Chelsea are reportedly prepared to use two players in any proposal for Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
With Enzo Maresca having left the King Power Stadium for Stamford Bridge, it is inevitable that the Italian has been linked with a reunion with at least one of his former players.
As a result of contributing 12 goals and 14 assists during Leicester's Championship title-winning campaign, Dewsbury-Hall is a man in demand.
The homegrown talent has previously indicated that he would like to remain at the East Midlands outfit, yet Leicester's financial situation may dictate that at least one sale is required.
On Thursday, it was suggested that Dewsbury-Hall could make the move to Brighton & Hove Albion in a part-exchange deal involving Jakub Moder.
Dewsbury-Hall wants Chelsea move
However, it has since been claimed that the 25-year-old is prepared to turn down a move to the Amex Stadium in order to join Chelsea.
The two clubs will now need to find an agreement over a figure, Leicester's preference likely to be receiving a straight fee for a player who came through their academy system.
That said, Chelsea's ranks are bloated to the extent where they are willing to include players in any proposal for the Englishman.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Leicester will be provided with the chance to sign each of Cesare Casadei and David Datro Fofana.
Why the two players moving to Leicester makes sense
In both cases, there is plenty of logical as to why a swift agreement may be found with all parties regarding a change of scenery.
Casadei is no stranger to Leicester having already spent the first half of last season on loan at the club, making 11 starts and 14 substitute outings in all competitions.
Maresca being at Chelsea should theoretically help his chances of opportunities with the West Londoners, yet there is already an array of midfield talent.
As for Fofana, the 21-year-old contributed four goals and one assist in 15 Premier League outings for Burnley during the second half of last season.
With Kelechi Iheanacho having been released, the Foxes require a third forward to compete with Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka, and Fofana could be an ideal choice for new head coach Steve Cooper. body check tags ::
