Chelsea have reportedly set themselves a deadline of January 14 to make a decision over the future of Tammy Abraham.
The Blues academy graduate is currently enjoying a productive spell at Aston Villa where 16 goals have been scored in 20 appearances in the Championship, but Wolverhampton Wanderers have emerged as strong admirers of the England international.
Chelsea are said to be keen to keep Abraham at Stamford Bridge, but according to The Telegraph, the West Londoners may still allow the 21-year-old to make the temporary switch to Molineux.
Abraham would be competing with Raul Jimenez for a starting role should he make the short trip across the West Midlands, but Chelsea must decide whether less guaranteed first-team action would be beneficial to his development.
Chelsea have until the middle of January to exercise a recall option in Abraham's deal with Villa.
