Chelsea could be looking to make a double swoop for highly-rated French prospects Eliaquim Mangala and Giannelli Imbula, according to The Express.
The report states that Chelsea potentially view Porto centre-back Mangala as a replacement for John Terry, while Marseille central midfielder Imbula could form the basis of their midfield in the coming years.
It is believed that 21-year-old Imbula could be available for a fee in the region of £25m, with Chelsea also scouting a number of potential replacements for aging Frank Lampard in the centre of the park.
Mangala recently changed agents and is now represented by Jorge Mendes, who also deals with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, further fuelling speculation that he is inching towards a move to Chelsea in January.
