Eden Hazard is to become the Premier League's highest-earning player on £300,000 a week when he signs a new contract at Chelsea, according to a report.
The Belgium international has been tipped to join Real Madrid in the past, most recently seeing his name linked with the reigning Spanish and European champions during the summer transfer window.
Hazard is in line for a new deal at Stamford Bridge to end any lingering doubts over his future, though, with The Express suggesting that only minor details are now left to agree.
Chelsea chiefs are said to be willing to add an extra £80,000 to the 26-year-old's current weekly wage, seeing him overtake Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba as the division's highest earner.
Former Lille ace Hazard has been eased back into action this season after picking up an ankle injury on international duty in June.
