Chelsea reportedly intend to prioritise a bid for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele in the summer, rather than pursue Bayern Munich attacker Serge Gnabry.

Dembele, whose contract expires at the end of the season, was made available by the Catalan giants at the end of January, leading to speculation regarding a transfer to Stamford Bridge.

The France international ultimately decided to see out the campaign at Camp Nou, but that has seemingly not halted contact between the relevant parties.

According to Sport, the European champions remain eager to get a deal for Dembele over the line ahead of the next campaign.

Head coach Thomas Tuchel has recently spoken of his admiration for the player after their year-long spell together at Borussia Dortmund during 2016-17.

The report adds that Chelsea have chosen to focus on Dembele rather than retain an interest in Gnabry. body check tags ::
