Chelsea have reportedly planned to reopen talks with Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele, whose contract at Camp Nou expires next month.
Barca president Joan Laporta has revealed that a new contract was offered to Dembele "a long time ago", but the 25-year-old is yet to decide on his future as he is tempted by other destinations.
Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be one of the clubs on the French international's radar, having left his homeland in 2016 to join Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
According to 90min, after Todd Boehly's imminent takeover from Roman Abramovich, Chelsea will now be in a position to negotiate terms with Dembele, who was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in January.
Thomas Tuchel's side will have to be patient and hope that Dembele waits for their takeover agreement to be confirmed by the UK government, while PSG have already made an offer to the winger and Bayern Munich are also said to be in negotiations with Dembele's entourage.
Since arriving in Catalonia in 2017, Dembele has gone on to score 32 goals and provide 34 assists in 149 appearances for Barca. body check tags ::
