Chelsea are reportedly preparing to battle Manchester United for the signature of Hellas Verona centre-back Marash Kumbulla during this summer's transfer window.
United continue to be linked with the 20-year-old and have allegedly been told that they will have to come up with an offer of €25m (£22.9m) if they wish to sign him ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
However, according to The Express, Chelsea are also keeping tabs on the Albania international, who has a contract with his current club until the summer of 2022.
There is also believed to be interest from Serie A, though, with both Lazio and Inter Milan said to have been monitoring Kumbulla's progress since he stepped into the first team.
The youngster has made 19 appearances for his Italian club this season and scored his only goal of the 2019-20 campaign against Sampdoria back in October.
Manchester City have also previously been credited with an interest in the centre-back.
