Chelsea are reportedly prepared to part ways with Fikayo Tomori on loan as they look to strike a deal for West Ham United's Declan Rice.
The Blues have already been heavily active in the transfer market and are prepared to welcome Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner to Stamford Bridge ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Frank Lampard is supposedly keen to shore up his defence in the summer window as well, with Rice mentioned as a potential signing alongside Leicester City's Ben Chilwell.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea are open to allowing Tomori to join the Hammers on a temporary deal, but the Blues are reluctant to let the 22-year-old leave permanently following his breakthrough season.
However, West Ham would reportedly demand a fee in excess of £70m for Rice, who still has four years left to run on his current contract at the London Stadium.
Should Rice make the move across the capital to join Chelsea, the England international would allegedly be used as a centre-back by Lampard despite his midfield capabilities.
