Chelsea are reportedly not prepared to sell Callum Hudson-Odoi to Bayern Munich unless there is a buy-back clause included in the deal.
Hudson-Odoi, 18, has been strongly linked with a move to Bayern in recent weeks.
The England Under-19 international has played eight times for Chelsea's first team this season, but has featured in just 42 minutes of the club's 2018-19 Premier League campaign, which has led to frustration on his part.
Hudson-Odoi will see his current deal with Chelsea expire at the end of next season, leading to suggestions that the Blues could sell with Bayern offering £35m.
According to The Times, Chelsea are prepared to accept Bayern's offer but have insisted that a buy-back clause is included in the deal.
Hudson-Odoi, who largely operates as a left winger, has scored once and provided three assists in 12 first-team appearances for Chelsea.
Bayern are believed to view the teenager as a long-term successor to Arjen Robben.
