Chelsea's Tiemoue Bakayoko 'wanted by three Serie A clubs'

Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli are battling it out to sign Chelsea outcast Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to a report.

Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is reportedly in the middle of a three-way transfer tussle involving Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli.

The Frenchman is back at Stamford Bridge following his loan spell at Napoli but is not thought to be in Thomas Tuchel's plans moving forward.

Bakayoko's existing Chelsea deal is due to expire in the summer of 2022, although the Blues do have the option of a 12-month extension in order to protect his value.

A return to Serie A has been strongly mooted for the 27-year-old, and Calciomercato now claims that Juve, Milan and Napoli are all interested in the midfielder's services.

The report adds that Lyon initially held talks over a loan deal with an option to buy, which did not bear fruit, and Milan are thought to be at the head of the queue after agreeing to a possible second loan spell following his 2018-19 stint at San Siro.

Bakayoko arrived at Chelsea from Monaco for £36m in the summer of 2017, but he has featured just 43 times for the Blues, scoring three goals and setting up three more in the 2017-18 season. body check tags ::
