Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has talked up the quality of Jadon Sancho amid speculation linking the Borussia Dortmund attacker with a move to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are among a host of clubs thought to be interested in the 20-year-old, although only a handful of teams are likely to be able to afford Dortmund's £100m asking price.
Reports this week have suggested that Chelsea could look to raise £78m from player sales in order to fund a bid for the England international, and Pulisic has hailed the quality of his former Dortmund teammate.
"It's one of the big reasons why I was really drawn there when I was very young. I think they (Dortmund) give younger players opportunities and it's a great club to go and develop," Pulisic told Sky Sports News.
"He (Sancho) was given an opportunity, just like I was, at a very high level, and they show you right away that they trust you and they're going to give an equal opportunity to all the players.
"He's done an amazing job since he came in and has obviously shown what abilities he has."
Sancho has scored 17 goals and assisted 19 in 35 games across all competitions, including 30 goal contributions in just 23 Bundesliga outings.
