Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher emerges as a £50m transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher during the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old has been in impressive form on loan at Crystal Palace this season, contributing six goals and three assists in 17 Premier League appearances.

Gallagher is due to spend the remainder of the campaign with the Eagles before returning to his parent club over the summer.

However, according to The Sun, PSG are lining up a £50m January move for the England international, with the French club's head coach Mauricio Pochettino a huge admirer of his talents.

The report claims that the Paris giants are confident that Chelsea would be open to selling the midfielder in January, although they are prepared to wait until the summer to complete the deal.

Gallagher, who made his England debut against San Marino in November, still has three-and-a-half years left to run on his contract at Stamford Bridge. body check tags ::
