Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has reportedly told Chelsea that he has no intention of penning a new contract with the club.
Courtois has won two Premier League titles during a successful period at Stamford Bridge, but the Belgium international has a long-standing desire to move to Spain.
The 26-year-old has less than year remaining on his contract, and according to The Sun, Courtois has formally told the Blues that he will not be renewing his deal.
Real Madrid are keen to secure the signing of Courtois before the end of the transfer window, and it has allegedly resulted in Chelsea being told to sell this month or receive nothing for the player's signature at the end of the season.
Chelsea are said to be reluctant to part ways with Courtois unless they are able to bring in a replacement before August 9.
