Thibaut Courtois has revealed that he wants his long-term future resolved before the end of the season.
The 21-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the best young goalkeepers in European football, is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid from parent club Chelsea.
As it stands, he is due to return to England at the end of the campaign, but the Belgian international has claimed that wants the matter resolved "as soon as possible".
"It's not something that can wait too long to sort out. We don't want to be making a decision in May," Courtois told a Spanish radio station.
"I have to take the decision with Chelsea as soon as possible, in March at the latest. But these are things that need to be spoken about and there are a lot of games at the moment in January and I have to be focused so it is not something I want to talk much about right now."
Courtois moved from Genk to Chelsea in 2011, but immediately joined Atletico on loan.
