Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater has reportedly arrived at Chelsea's Cobham training complex ahead of his proposed move to the club on deadline day.
The 27-year-old has submitted a transfer request at the King Power Stadium, but Leicester are unwilling to let him leave for less than their £35m asking price.
Sky Sports News reports that Drinkwater is currently waiting for permission from the Foxes to undergo a medical as Chelsea look to push a deal through before the 11pm deadline tonight.
Chelsea have seen two bids rejected for the England international this summer, but they remain confident that they will complete the transfer in time.
Leicester, meanwhile, are understood to have lined up Adrien Silva as a replacement for Drinkwater should Chelsea meet their valuation.
