Everton have reportedly made it clear to Barcelona that they are prepared to meet the Spanish club's demands when it comes to Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho.
The 27-year-old has spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan with Bayern Munich, scoring nine times and registering eight assists in 32 appearances for the German champions.
Bayern have the option of signing Coutinho on a permanent deal this summer, although it is understood that the Bundesliga giants will reject the opportunity due to the cost.
Barca are said to be keen to move the South American on once again ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, and Chelsea continue to be credited with an interest in his services.
However, according to Sport, Everton are also in the hunt for the former Liverpool playmaker, having made it clear that they will accept the Catalan side's demands of a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
Coutinho has scored 21 times and registered 11 assists in 76 outings for Barca since joining the Spanish champions from Liverpool in January 2018.
