Nabil Fekir 'offered to Premier League clubs for £66m'

A report claims that Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have been made aware that former Liverpool target Nabil Fekir is available to purchase from Lyon for a fee of £66m.

Lyon are still prepared to sell prized asset Nabil Fekir to a Premier League club after his move to Liverpool broke down, according to a report.

The French attacker, who is currently away on World Cup duty with his national side, was poised to join the Reds in a big-money move earlier this month.

Liverpool attempted to renegotiate the fee at the eleventh hour, however, claiming that £55m would be their final offer due to concerns over a knee injury flagged during the player's medical.

Lyon pulled the plug and suggested that they would now keep the 24-year-old at the Groupama Stadium, but The Sun claims that a move away could yet be on the cards.

Fekir has been given a £66m price tag by Les Gones, which has reportedly alerted Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

Both teams are said to be in the market for an attacking midfielder and may take up Lyon's offer if they miss out on other targets.
