Chelsea midfielder Florent Malouda has been linked with a £5m move to Juventus, according to The Mirror.
The 31-year-old could find his first-team chances limited following the arrival of Juan Mata for £25m from Valencia.
The Blues are also rumoured to be chasing Porto's Alvaro Pereira, who also plays on the left side of midfield.
Chelsea are keen to remove Malouda's £3m-a-year contract from their wage bill and are only willing to do a permanent deal with Juventus, who originally wanted the Frenchman on loan.
Malouda was left out of the Chelsea starting lineup against West Bromwich Albion last weekend, but came off the bench to score the winner in a 2-1 victory.
"It has always been clear before this game that there is a lot of competition in the squad," Malouda said. "Everyone is under pressure."
Chelsea signed Malouda for £13.5m from Lyon in 2007 and he has gone on to score 34 goals in 126 appearances for the Blues.
