Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi will reportedly only be granted his transfer to Bayern Munich if Eden Hazard rejects a move to Real Madrid.
The Blues are bracing themselves for a nine-figure offer from Real for star man Hazard, who has made no secret of his desire to make the switch.
Hudson-Odoi's future has also been under the spotlight over the past six months, having been the subject of three January bids from Bayern, the most recent in the region of £35m.
The 18-year-old has been largely limited to cup starts this season, with all five of his Premier League appearances coming from the bench.
Bayern are expected to revive their interest in the summer, knowing that Hudson-Odoi is keen on a move, but The Sun reports that a deal depends entirely on Hazard.
Chelsea must decide whether to persuade the Belgium international to stay, potentially with the offer of another new contract, or instead build a team around Hudson-Odoi.
The prospect of doing both is said to be incredibly slim.
