Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is reportedly looking for guarantees over his playing time before penning a new contract.
Hudson-Odoi only became a regular in Maurizio Sarri's plans during the final months of the season, with his campaign being cut short by a serious Achilles injury.
The exit of Eden Hazard should - in theory - provide the 18-year-old with regular opportunities if he decides to extend his deal, which is due to expire in 2020.
However, The Sun claims that Hudson-Odoi wants assurances over his minutes in the first team once he has returned to the senior setup.
The report alleges that Hudson-Odoi is 'playing hardball' in order to ensure that his career goes in his chosen direction, aware that he will not be short of offers if deciding to leave Stamford Bridge.
The England international is not expected to recover from his Achilles setback until towards the end of the year.
