Inter Milan have reportedly entered pole position to complete the signing of Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud over the January transfer window.
The Frenchman has been reduced to just four Premier League appearances this season, with manager Frank Lampard preferring Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi up front.
Reports have suggested that Giroud is "frustrated" with his situation at Stamford Bridge and will listen to offers from other clubs ahead of the upcoming window.
According to Tuttosport, Inter are leading the race to secure the striker's signature over the January window.
The 33-year-old's contract at Chelsea expires next summer, making it somewhat inevitable that he leaves the club at the start of 2020.
Crystal Palace and Borussia Dortmund have also been mentioned as potential destinations for the former Arsenal striker.
