Inter Milan are reportedly prepared to pay up to £25m for Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri in January.
Frank Lampard has regularly rotated between Emerson and Marcos Alonso at left-back so far this season, with the futures of both players coming under scrutiny now that the transfer window has opened.
Chelsea are thought to be looking at bringing in a new left-sided defender this month having seen their transfer ban reduced, with Leicester City's Ben Chilwell at the top of their wanted list.
The Independent reports that Chelsea would consider offloading Emerson should they sign a replacement, and that Inter Milan are leading Juventus in the race for the 25-year-old.
A move to San Siro would see Emerson reunited with Antonio Conte, who took him to Chelsea during his time in charge at Stamford Bridge.
Inter could be willing to pay up to £25m for the Italy international, who has made just short of 50 Chelsea appearances across all competitions.
