Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud has reportedly remained as a transfer target for Inter Milan.
Having recently moved up the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, Giroud has recently penned a one-year extension to his contract keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2021.
However, despite currently being regarded as Frank Lampard's first-choice striker, it appears that the veteran will be offered a route out of the West Londoners.
According to the Daily Mail, Inter are still keen on signing the 33-year-old and left-back Emerson Palmieri during the next window.
With Chelsea having plans to make more big-money additions before next season, Inter are aware that club officials will want to make a number of sales.
As it stands, a deal for Palmieri appears more likely, with the Italy international now behind Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso with regards to selection.
