Serie A champions Inter Milan would reportedly accept an offer in the region of £100m from Chelsea for striker Romelu Lukaku.
Thomas Tuchel's side recently had two bids for the 28-year-old rejected by the Italian outfit, with their latest offer worth around £85m plus left wing-back Marcos Alonso.
However, the Blues are expected to table a third bid and according to the Daily Telegraph, Inter may be forced into selling their star striker due to their financial situation.
Achraf Hakimi is one high-profile player who has already left the club, joining Paris Saint-Germain earlier in the window for around £68m, but Inter's owner Steven Zhang is considering another big-money sale to help balance the books.
Chelsea, who are prioritising the signing of a new centre-forward this summer, are now increasingly confident that they can prise Lukaku away from the San Siro before the August 31 deadline.
It is understood that the Belgian international would welcome a return to Stamford Bridge, though he will not look to force through a transfer.
Lukaku has had two successful years with Inter since joining from Manchester United in August 2019, scoring 64 goals and providing 19 assists in 95 appearances across all competitions. body check tags ::
