John Terry has urged Chelsea to move for Jadon Sancho, claiming that the Borussia Dortmund attacker would be a "great addition" for his former club.
Sancho is one of the most sought-after players in world football after a couple of impressive campaigns in Germany with Dortmund.
The England international, who came through Manchester City's academy system, has a combined 55 goals and assists in the Bundesliga since the start of 2018-19.
Chelsea are one of many sides to have been credited with an interest in Sancho, and their legendary former skipper Terry - while a fan of promoting players from within - is keen to see him at Stamford Bridge next season.
"I think Sancho is one of the best young players in the world at the moment, so he'd be a great addition to Chelsea's squad," Terry told Frank Khalid's YouTube channel.
"It would make us better as well, but the ones that have come through [the academy] - Billy Gilmour, Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount, Reece James - it's endless isn't it?
"So I think every Chelsea fan, since I came through the ranks, that's all Chelsea fans wanted to see: the youth team players and the younger generation coming through and making their first team debuts. We've seen that in abundance this year."
Chelsea are reportedly willing to pay up to £120m to sign Sancho from Dortmund.
