Chelsea's hopes of signing Miralem Pjanic have reportedly been dashed after he indicated his wish to join Juventus.
The Blues were said to be confident of luring the Bosnian playmaker to Stamford Bridge with a £65,000-a-week, three-year deal.
However, speaking to Roma Radio, Roma general manager Mauro Baldissoni has revealed that Pjanic has written a letter expressing his desire to join the Bianconeri.
Baldissoni rubbished reports that Roma has asked Juventus about the possibility of a sale and branded those rumours as "nonsense".
Pjanic joined Roma from Lyon in 2011.
