Chelsea winger Salomon Kalou has claimed that he will not "fight" for a new contract with the former English champions.
The Ivorian comes to the end of his current deal at Stamford Bridge when the season finishes in the summer, but the 26-year-old has admitted that he is content with holding off talks over a possible renewal.
"I know my contract ends at the end of the season," said Kalou. "For me the most important thing is not to fight for a new deal, it is just to enjoy myself with the team and play the best I can and help the team win the games we have left to play. As long as I do that, I am fine and I am happy with myself."
Kalou gave the Blues a one-goal advantage in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals after firing past Benfica in Portugal last night.
