Everton boss Frank Lampard has reportedly looked to use his Chelsea connections to bring Conor Gallagher and Armando Broja to Goodison Park this summer.
The pair enjoyed successful spells out on loan away from Stamford Bridge in the 2021-22 Premier League campaign with Crystal Palace and Southampton respectively.
As a result of their form, interest in their services has risen ahead of the upcoming transfer window, although Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel recently confirmed that he is expecting the duo to take part in the club's pre-season plans this summer.
However, Chelsea legend Lampard is looking to utilise his contacts with his former club in order to bring Gallagher and Broja to Everton in the coming weeks according to journalist Pete O'Rourke.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, O'Rourke said: "I'm sure Frank Lampard will be using all the contacts that he can in this transfer market to try and improve this Everton squad.
"Obviously, he has got his connection at Chelsea, so I'm sure that might help sway Armando Broja or Conor Gallagher, who will be well aware of Lampard from his time at Chelsea as a player as well as a manager."
Everton will face competition for both signatures however, with Palace interested in retaining Gallagher's services, whilst Southampton, Newcastle United, West Ham United, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Napoli have all been linked with a move for Broja.
Gallagher was awarded the supporters' player of the season award at Selhurst Park after netting eight goals and registering three assists in 34 Premier League appearances this season, whilst Broja impressed up front for the Saints, netting nine goals from 24 starts across all competitions. body check tags ::
